Appeal and Public Hearing. 6.A. Hearing of the City of St. Augustine City Commission on remand from the Circuit Court of St. Johns County in re: Beemer & Associates, XV, L.C. v. City of St. Augustine case number CA16-517, quashing the City Commission’s order to deny a use by exception and conservation overlay zone permit for a mini-warehouse facility. This hearing will be held pursuant to section 28-29 (g) (6) as remanded for further proceedings consistent with the court’s order dated November 28, 2017. (I. Lopez, City Attorney).

Ordinance 2017-09: Adopts higher regulatory standards to further protect property from flooding to include elevation requirements for new homes, foundation requirements for new residential construction and elevation requirements for new buildings and structures outside flood hazard areas. Ordinance 2017-35: Amendments to the “Communications Right-of-Way Ordinance” to comply with recent legislative changes to Florida Statute §337.401. (D. May, Assistant City Attorney).

Resolution 2017-51: Revises the tour route for Ripley’s Sightseeing Train Stop #15. (R. Franklin, Mobility Program Manager).
Resolution 2017-55: Authorizes the City Manager to execute commercial and residential leases involving the City properties or properties leased for City purposes that have a monthly rental of less than $4,000 per month.
