Ordinance 2016-28: As requested by City Commission, this Ordinance has been amended to provide for the waiver of certain fees and costs for indigent individuals once that status has been determined. (D. May, Assistant City Attorney)
Ordinance 2017-01: Clarifies the existing procedures for a City Commission appeal, the record of the hearing and the requirement of a transcript, includes appeal to the City Commission of negative Planning and Zoning Board recommendations for a rezoning or comp plan amendment in the appeal section of the code, provides the property owner with automatic legal sufficiency to go directly to the substantive hearing. Ordinance 2017-02: Clarifies the existing procedures for a record of the hearing of the Historic Architectural Review Board and allows Historic Architectural Review Board the same ability as the Planning and Zoning Board to include reasonable time limits on its orders. (I. Lopez, City Attorney).
Ordinance 2017-03: Modifies the Planning and Zoning Board recommendation report process for re-zonings and comprehensive plan amendments to remove the automatic forwarding of a report to the City Commission when there is a negative recommendation, and instead provides for an appeal to the City Commission. This amendment also corrects the statutory reference to current state law. (I. Lopez, City Attorney).
