This project, on-going since 2009, exchanges a detailed model of don Pedro Menendez’ San Pelayo galleon (produced by the City of Aviles), and in return - a replica of the obelisk in the Plaza de la Constitucion commemorating the liberal Spanish Constitution of 1812 (produced by the City of St. Augustine).
